The Classification of the Exhibition Classes is as follows: 7.1Non-competitive exhibits (by invitation) 7.2Competitive Classes Class 1FIAP Championship Class for collections that have been awarded three FIP / FIAP large gold medals at exhibitions under the patronage of FIP / FIAP between the years 2011 and 2022 inclusive Class 2Traditional Philately A) New Zealand and Australia and their territories, protectorates or colonies B) Asia C) Rest of the World Class 3Postal History A) New Zealand and Australia and their territories, protectorates or colonies B) Asia C) Rest of the World Class 4Postal Stationery Class 5Aerophilately Class 6Astrophilately Class 7Thematic Philately Exhibits will be classified under: A) Nature B) Culture C) Technology Please indicate clearly in the Exhibit Application Form the sub-class (A, B or C) the exhibit is entering. Class 8Maximaphily Class 9Revenue Class 10Open Philately Class 11Youth Philately A) Collectors aged 10 – 15 years B) Collectors aged 16 – 18 years C) Collectors aged 19 – 21 years (All ages as of 1 January 2022) Please indicate clearly in the Exhibit Application Form the sub-class (A, B or C) AND the discipline (e.g. traditional, postal history, aerophilately, thematic, etc.) the exhibit is entering. Class 12One-Frame Exhibit Exhibits in this Class should not be One Frame extracted from a multiple frame exhibit and should be based on a narrow subject that is best treated as One Frame. Awards are points only (60-100 points) with CERTIFICATES – no medals. Class 13Modern Philately (from 1980 onwards) Exhibits may be entered under only one of the following sub-classes: (A) Traditional Philately (B) Postal History (C) Postal Stationery Please indicate clearly in the Exhibit Application Form the sub-class (A, B or C) the exhibit is entering. Exhibitors are entitled to apply for 3 – 5 frames per exhibit. Acceptance of any entries in the Modern Philately class will not preclude acceptances of entries in any other class. Class 14Picture Postcards 7.3 The Organising Committee reserves the right to reject any exhibit applications without assigning any reason for such rejection. |
